Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a 10-day locum tenens assignment beginning Nov 10, 2025, in Texas. The role demands proficiency in ortho-trauma surgeries, including pelvic and acetabulum operations and hand injury treatments. Coverage includes 24-hour call shifts from a hotel with a 30-minute response time and clinic duties 2 mornings a week. Job Details Location : Texas Facility Type : Trauma Center Start Date : Nov 10, 2025 LOA : 10 days Provider Type Needed : Orthopedic Surgeon Schedule : 24-hour call, 7a-7a Clinic : 2 mornings / week, 8a-5p Responsibilities and Duties Perform all required surgical procedures for trauma and emergency cases, specializing in orthopedic trauma. Manage a case load of 12-25 patients during clinic hours, supported by an APP. Ensure timely response and availability during on-call shifts. Utilize Epic for EMR management. Additional Information Must be board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Valid Texas medical license required. Minimum of 1-3 years experience in ortho-trauma surgeries. No additional MD / DO coverage; APP support available for 10 hours daily.
