Senior Project Manager required for Confidential Company

  • Senior Project Manager
  • Mobile, AL
  • Permanent / full-time
  • $150,000 - $180,000 per year

The Senior Project Manager will have the following responsibilities :

  • Oversee all phases of commercial marine construction projects from initiation through final completion
  • Collaborate with clients and brokers to define and refine project requirements
  • Support lease and work letter reviews, focusing on construction-related provisions
  • Provide hands-on management complex marine construction projects on a daily basis
  • Supervise up to two internal team members (project managers or engineers) to ensure successful project execution.
  • Create preliminary budgets and schedules
  • Monitor and manage project performance against approved budgets, timelines, and client objectives
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, including design professionals, general contractors, and other client-selected partners
  • Administer change orders, invoicing, tenant improvement allowance reimbursements, and project close-out procedures
  • The ideal Senior Project Manager candidate will have the following skillset :

  • Must have project management experience in the construction of shipyard, marine, waterfront, and / or coastal infrastructure
  • Prior involvement in Design-Build project delivery
  • Experience with tenant improvement (TI) projects is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead and manage both internal team members and external stakeholders
  • High proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
  • Must be self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams
