Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for a functional lead for a Sage X3 Financials implementation. The ideal resource will have a strong accounting controllership skillset, as well as experience leading the functional aspects of financial systems implementations. This role will work with both the accounting / finance team as well as the technical implementation team to ensure alignment of business processes and system requirements. This role will also lead UAT as well as be responsible for end user training, to include manuals, SOPs, and in-person trainings across multiple sites (some travel required). This role will be 100% onsite in Reynoldsburg, as well as include some travel to sites outside of Columbus.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the financial aspects of system implementation projects, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.
• Develop, document, and distribute comprehensive training manuals for employees.
• Conduct employee training sessions to ensure proper utilization of newly implemented systems.
• Collaborate with teams across various offices nationwide, requiring occasional travel.
• Provide expert guidance on Sage X3 implementation and system conversion processes.
• Support the organization by offering strategic financial insights and recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles.
• Proven expertise in Sage X3 or similar system implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry practices and standards.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create and present training materials effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support training initiatives.
