Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician with extensive knowledge and experience in troubleshooting industrial electronic controls at a component level. The role involves working with VFDs, DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and associated wiring for industrial conveyors, barges, e-cranes, and heavy equipment in a shipping / barge company. The successful candidate will support operations through the installation, programming, start-up, and maintenance of electrical, automation, and process control equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment requires meeting 'fit for duty' requirements, including pre-employment physical and drug tests. The role involves physical activities such as walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders and stairs, and negotiating uneven and moving surfaces. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 130 feet is necessary. Work is performed in a dusty environment and all types of temperature / weather conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00 / yr.
Direct hire - Full benefits package can be requested during the interview process.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in New Orleans,LA.
