The Neurology Technician is responsible for providing outstanding patient care and exceptional client service while working with doctors and shift leadership to address patient care needs. Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospitals will empower you to do just that. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Restrain animals for neurological examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor : Appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
- Perform laboratory procedures.
- Assist in performing diagnostic studies, including radiography, CT, and MRI.
- Basic inventory and stocking duties.
- Basic surgical duties : Prepare the surgical suite and anesthesia equipment; pull instruments
& open room; scrub & assist in surgery as needed; break down & clean room; clean, wrap
and sterilize packs.
