We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Position Details :

  • Facility : BayCare HomeCare
  • Location : Largo, FL
  • Status : Full Time, hourly
  • Shift Hours : 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM
  • Weekend Work : None
  • On Call : No

Pharmacy Technician I, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include :

  • Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department
  • Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction
  • Required Registration : Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.
  • Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
  • Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
