As a Treasury co-op, you won't just be observing you'll be contributing to this vital function. Role Description :
The Comcast Treasury team offers an exciting internship in Operations & Services, providing direct involvement in cash management, investment activities, and bank account administration.
As a Treasury Analyst Co-op, you will actively participate in :
Ensuring Daily Liquidity : Contributing to the management of Comcast's daily cash flow and balances to meet operational needs.Supporting Payment & Transaction Processing : Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of various financial transactions.Gaining Investment Operations Experience : Supporting the execution and reconciliation of investment and redemption activities.Contributing to Treasury Reporting : Preparing daily reports on key treasury activities to provide insights for management.Facilitating Bank Account Lifecycle : Assisting with the opening and closing of bank accounts.Developing Banking Relationship Awareness : Gaining exposure to how Comcast interacts and manages its relationships with various banking partners.This internship offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to Comcast's financial success, develop essential analytical and operational skills, and gain real-world experience in a leading corporate treasury department.
Job Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Cash Management : Establish and report the daily cash position for various subsidiary entities. Execute daily funds transfers to optimize liquidity. Perform daily investment activities in accordance with company policy.Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and distribute routine reports on global cash balances and investment activities, including presentations to senior management. Identify, research, analyze, and resolve various cash transaction issues promptly.Bank Account Management : Support the complete lifecycle of bank accounts by coordinating the opening, processing the closure, and implementing service modifications as requested by different business units.Liaison and Communication : Act as a key point of contact between company business units and financial institutions. Frequently interact with teams in various locations (Philadelphia, Amsterdam, UK, New York) on topics such as forecasting, cash balances, fund movements, and account maintenance support. Engage with banking partners to facilitate account openings and closures.Treasury Systems Support : Assist with the maintenance of various treasury systems, including user support, system administration, monitoring, reporting, and contingency planning.Preferred Skills : Technical Skills :
