A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS).
Key Responsibilities
Perform coding reviews based on evaluations of various medical documentation and data
Ensure accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation to support code capture
Support pre-visit planning by communicating potential chronic conditions and care gaps
Required Qualifications
Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in good standing
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field with relevant credentials or licenses
Minimum of 5 years of risk adjustment-focused medical record review and ICD-10 coding experience
Proficiency in productivity tools such as spreadsheets, Google Suite, and EHR systems
Proven experience working remotely and alignment with the company's mission and values
