- This is a full-time, in-office position in our headquarters office in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
Work the case from the time we sign to the time we settle or fileProvide top-tier client communication through all phases of the caseExhibit excellent attention to detail while maintaining the files in accordance with firm policies and proceduresComplete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneysHandle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing counsel, and insurance companiesEfficiently complete and stay caught up on tasksCommunicate with clients / providers / insurance companiesSchedule medical treatmentBalance phone calls and disbursing clientsYou are the client's main point of contact with the firm and should develop a relationship with the client to ensure an excellent client experienceThe PI Case Manager's role is to provide high-level case management and ensure that the client obtains the best medical treatment within the coverage scope. Their role is to maintain continued contact with the client through all stages of the case, from Opening to Settlement.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required or 5+ years in a PI paralegal role1-2 years of previous law firm experienceProficient with Microsoft OfficeOrganizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this positionAbility to type 50 words per minute or fasterMust be tech-savvy and able to work in a fast-paced, cloud-based environmentGreat attitude with a focus on collaborative workCompensation
$40,000 - $60,000 per year
