Our new Kutztown office focuses on supporting college students and young adults navigating academic stress, identity development, relationships, anxiety, and life transitions.
We provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling in a welcoming and collaborative environment designed to help every individual find their path forward. Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) to provide counseling services to college students and emerging adults at our Kutztown location.
The ideal candidate has a warm, relatable presence, enjoys working with young adults, and understands the unique challenges of campus life, independence, and mental wellness during the college years.
Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to college students and young adults.
Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment stress, relationship issues, and identity exploration.
Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation using our EHR system.
Collaborate with Pathways’ clinical team, university wellness staff, and community providers when appropriate.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
Engage in outreach or psychoeducation efforts within the Kutztown community or nearby campuses (optional).
Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Active Pennsylvania license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist).
Experience working with young adults or college populations preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive care.
Preferred Attributes Familiarity with campus mental health trends, academic pressures, and transitional issues.
Experience providing both in-person and telehealth counseling.
Interest in creative or specialized modalities (mindfulness, CBT, DBT, EMDR, expressive therapy, etc.).
