Assistant Manager, Strategic Product Planning and Development - Fashion / Access

Overview

Assistant Manager, Strategic Product Planning and Development - Fashion / Accessory at Kiss Products, Inc. This position is responsible for a wide range of new product development processes from initial conceptualization through market research / design / manufacture to product launching, with a focus on Fashion / Accessory.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm ideas to develop new products.
• Review POS data and sales analysis to understand market needs.
• Conduct market research to understand / read current trends.
• Design sketches for new products and obtain sample items to begin sourcing.
• Get quotations and samples from vendors; check quality and cost; compare with reasonable COG.
• Create plans for newly launching items.
• Brainstorm concepts and share them with the design team.
• Maintain ongoing communication with vendors to ensure project momentum and production quality; monitor initial production schedule, ETA / ETD.
• Coordinate with other departments to inform changes, issue POs, approve new items, and promote items with a solid strategy.
• Search for new qualified vendors; submit vendor requests and perform vendor audits as needed.
• Discuss and survey the product with consumers through vendors; surveys may cover colors and functions.
• Complete system setup (SAP).

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range is 22.75 - 44.50 USD hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on internal and external factors.
