About being our Senior Civil Project Engineer

Our Seattle Engineering Team is seeking a talented Senior Civil Project Engineer to help design, deliver and manage impactful municipal projects across the Puget Sound area. From roadway widening and intersection improvements to downtown revitalization, parks, trails, and water / sewer system upgrades, you will be part of work that directly benefits our communities.

At Psomas, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, working alongside engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors on innovative, high-quality projects. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise, leadership, and creativity to meaningful work.

Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Civil Project Engineer

• Design transportation and utility-related municipal projects using Civil3D
• Lead design groups, coordinate project meetings, and direct subconsultants
• Project management of small to medium sized projects
• Provide mentorship and guidance to emerging professionals
• Prepare or assist in the development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)
• Oversee project documentation, quantities, and cost estimates
• Assign tasks and manage the work of design engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
