Senior Regulatory Risk Specialist

The Senior Regulatory Risk Specialist is responsible for ensuring the compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks associated with non-compliance. This role involves staying updated on changing regulations, analyzing their impact on the bank's operations, and developing strategies to address potential risks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the Bank's operations and risk profile.
• Accountable for ensuring that the bank remains compliant with all relevant regulations, both current and emerging, by implementing necessary controls and policies.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive regulatory risk management framework that identifies, measures, monitors, and mitigates risks.
• Accountable for monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes and ensuring the bank's policies and procedures align with them.
• Accountable for collaborating with senior management to create strategies that align the bank's operations with regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for leading regulatory risk assessments and providing actionable insights to mitigate potential risks.
• Responsible for coordinating and supporting internal and external audits, ensuring that all regulatory compliance issues are addressed.
• Accountable for maintaining documentation and records related to regulatory risk management activities, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Seeks out, develops and maintains knowledge and skills through completion of continuing education and training pertinent to the position.
• Other duties as assigned.
