Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Support Service Writer in daily automotive service operations.
• Diagnose automobile problems and perform or coordinate repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, both in-person and by phone, to explain automotive issues, repairs, and costs.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and explaining details to customers.
• Develop repair estimates, including parts, labor, and materials, and calculate customer payments.
• Prepare and process repair orders (RO), accurately documenting symptoms, diagnoses, and repair actions.
• Maintain accurate automotive service and repair records.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and arranging towing or transportation when necessary.
• Stay updated on automotive repair knowledge and industry trends through training and reading manufacturer publications.
• Familiarity with automobile parts, tools, procedures, and company inventory.
• Accept ownership of tasks and seek opportunities to add value to the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
