RN Clinical Nurse I - (New Grad) Medical / Surgical Unit

3rd Floor Medical / Surgical Unit

On our 24-bed unit you see a wide variety of diagnoses. You may see patients with chest pain, CHF, syncope, strokes, Diabetes, COPD, and any number of other med-surgical type diagnoses. We also see some surgery patients. Excellent teamwork with a dedicated work family. Patient ratios : 1 RN : 5-6 Patients, on our day shift 3 Nursing Assistants and a Secretary and over nights we have 3 Nursing Assistants for support.

Summary

Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager / Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
