Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) opportunity in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!

Description

A AG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s HealthCare system in the Austin area . St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care . In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, o ur practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center , South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers .

Case Assignments

Our practice covers the full range of specialties including g eneral inpatient and outpatient cases , trauma , OB, neuro, EP and more.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and / or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
