Job Description :

Physical Therapist responsible for delivering comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, education, and consultation, aimed at enhancing functional abilities and achieving optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for outpatient physical therapy and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Education Qualifications :

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment, patient / caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patients
• This therapist will primarily provide patient care to an adult population, including orthopedic injury / surgery, neurological conditions, and general medical conditions.
• Complete all ancillary and administrative tasks for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other related duties.
• Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism, and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers) and comply with all organization policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
• Work closely with Essentia Health management and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Complies with organizational policies and procedures and code of conduct
• Meets professional organization core values, code of ethics, and scope of practice
• Optional involvement in weekend coverage at the Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes hospital
