Responsibilities
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the accurate processing of payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations in California or remote work states (where applicable) on behalf of independent practices. Duties include but not limited to : data entry, processing payroll related information, calculating earnings, adjustments, retroactive payments, tax payments, and customer service related to payroll.
Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Associate's Degree preferred
Experience :
1 year of previous experience in Accounting or Payroll required
Healthcare payroll experience preferred
Experience with automated timekeeping system, Paylocity preferred
Multi-entity experience preferred
