General Job Description :

  • The Supervisor position is responsible for the execution, direction, and coordination of all Letter Shop and presort activities within Mailroom Systems, Inc.
  • Working extra hours required when needed to meet customer’s mailing deadline.
  • Basic mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting experience a plus.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervising employees’ performance
  • Allocating work assignments to optimize work output
  • Ensuring compliance with UPS standards
  • Train and operate various types of mail processing equipment
  • Troubleshoot repairs
  • Manage time and attendance database for your employees
  • Maintain staffing
  • Training operators in department policies and procedures
  • Addressing employee deficiencies

    • Qualifications for the Job :

    Education : High School Diploma or GED.

    Experience : 1 year SUPERVISORY experience working in a mail sorting, manufacturing, or production

    Other : Able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.

    Able to work by themselves with little supervision.

    Able to work well with a diverse group of people & be professional at all times.

    Able to meet time sensitive deadlines

    Able to practice workplace safety.

    Able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms to perform the job 100% of the time.
  • Ability to stand at a workstation 90% of the time.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend 90% of the time.
  • Able to lift / carry 1 oz. to 15 lbs. frequently; 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting. Noise level is moderate.

    • Shift : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00PM to 6 : 00AM
