Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) and BLS certification for a fast-paced IR department.
Responsibilities
Work in a dynamic interventional radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologistsEquipment includes Philips rooms (one biplane) and one GE Hybrid roomAdult patient population in a short-term acute care settingShifts are 4x10 days from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMEPIC EMR is used and proficiency is requiredRegular floating between like units within the scope of skills is requiredCandidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel contractsFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionAll time-off requests must be declared at the time of application and may affect considerationReliable transportation is required for this assignmentFormer permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside the 50-mile radiusAnnual online modules must be completed before starting and take an average of 16 hoursCOVID and flu vaccination may be required per complianceOpen to temp-to-perm transitions if mutually agreed upon after contractRequirements
Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology technologist experienceCurrent BLS and ARRT (R) certifications requiredWashington state license required (license required if applicable)Interventional Radiology / Cardiovascular certification preferredExperience with EPIC charting is requiredTwo supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are needed for considerationBenefits
