Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care

Location - New York, NY

1099 Locums Contract

  • Needs 1 FT NP. Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (Will accept an FNP with Pediatric CC background)
  • Flexible to work days or nights and one weekend per month
  • Must have active NY License
  • Must have COVID and Flu vaccinations.
  • Must have 2 years of experience
  • Types of Cases : provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)

JOB INFORMATION :

  • Dates of Coverage : July / August 2024 - 13 weeks with possibility to extend

    • Lodging, Airfare and Rental Car / Mileage included!

  • Setting : pediatric critical care unit with neurology, transplant, post- surgical patients
  • Daily Responsibilities : provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)
  • Shifts / Schedule Expectations : Need 6-13 shifts per month, schedule is 12 hours (7am -7 : 30pm and 7pm -7 : 30 am) (weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts), 30 min lunch break deduction per shift. Must be available to work one weekend per month.
  • Call Schedule / Responsibilities : no
  • PPD / Census : 14 bed critical care unit
  • Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff : 2-3 NPs on days and nights
  • Procedures Required / Preferred : n / a
  • EMR : Epic
  • Certifications required / accepted : National NP Board certification required, BCLS, PALS, NYS RN and NP license,

    • Will accept an FNP with Pediatric CC background.
