What You Will Do

• The ideal candidate will have a strong Construction / Contract Administration background and be able to develop, manage and lead a team of field staff.
• Develop knowledge of design standards and generate business to grow opportunities for WSB.
• Provide project management, oversight, and administration on Federal, State, County and City construction projects and contracts; participate in proposal development, staff scheduling and management.
• Perform contract administration duties including plan development, interpretation, budget management, schedule management, record keeping, change negotiations, quality, and project documentation, in office and in the field.
• Interact with clients, residents, contractors, public agencies, and private owners. Read and understand contracts, plans, provisions, and documents related to roadway and bridge construction; learn contract administration and project management software.
• Be knowledgeable of State & Federal Contract Administration processes and procedures.
• Be part of WSB's Construction and Design Build Services Group with our Contract Administration team, helping manage and deliver projects, conducting field visits, verifying compliance with plans and specifications, preparing pay estimates, and producing project documentation for private, municipal, county, MNDOT and federal projects.
• Work on various project delivery methods including Design Build, CMGC, ID / IQ and conventional Bid / Build.

What You Will Bring

You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50–75 lbs. periodically. You may work with your hands and may need to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. You may work on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
