Job Details

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Machine Design Engineer to join our team! This is a permanent position on our team where you will have the opportunity design and build custom manufacturing equipment for our customers.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and enhance manufacturing equipment and automation systems using SolidWorks and other software tools.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and develop solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

3. Conduct detailed mechanical design work including 3D modeling, calculations, and technical documentation.

4. Ensure all designs comply with the required design standards, safety regulations and customer specifications.

5. Implement and maintain ISO 9001 procedures in all design processes.

6. Apply GD&T techniques to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.

7. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions for design issues.

8. Continuously research and implement new design technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine design in the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

4. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

5. Solid understanding of GD&T principles and their application in design.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

8. Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
