Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, NY location.

DUTIES : Support the execution and origination of debt capital markets transactions for institutional clients in the Latin America region. Participate in the due diligence and review processes and negotiate transactional documentation. Prepare marketing materials and coordinate the overall execution process of debt capital market transactions. Assist the lead coverage Banker with pitching new business opportunities for the firm in Latin America. Engage in the active coverage of financial institutions in the region, providing frequent market updates and scouting business opportunities for the group. Prepare financing proposals for our clients, considering their needs, business profiles, and suitability.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering (any), or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation executing debt capital market transactions within the financial services industry. Seven (7) years of experience must include : Originating and executing complex debt transactions, including high-yield bonds, leveraged finance facilities, and acquisition financing for Latin American public and private sector borrowers; Syndicating and distributing credit facilities to global and regional banks, as well as institutional lenders; Arranging and distributing sovereign debt in the international debt markets to global institutional investors; Analyzing financial statements to perform credit analysis and provide credit underwriting recommendations; Reviewing legal contracts related to debt transactions, including credit agreements, bond prospectuses, and bond indentures; Performing fixed income mathematics, including cash flow modeling, bond pricing, and duration calculations; Performing financial modeling to support and originate debt transactions for corporates and financial institutions in Latin America; and Utilizing financial data platforms, including Bloomberg. 40 hrs. / wk. 20% international travel required.

Wage Range : $275,000.00 to $275,000.00
