Leo AI is a video player that uses AI to understand your video content and produce marketing data to boost your video visibility on search engines. It updates marketing data automatically to match your video to latest user search trends in your industry.

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented freelance video editor who can take existing long-form video content (such as webinars, conference recordings, and educational sessions) and transform it into engaging, high-quality short-form videos optimized for multiple platforms — including social media, blogs, and website landing pages.

The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, understands social media trends, and can identify compelling moments within long videos that will resonate with online audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Review and edit long-form content (webinars, conferences, workshops, educational videos).
  • Create short, engaging clips (15–90 seconds) for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
  • Produce highlight reels or summary edits for blog posts, landing pages, and marketing materials.
  • Add captions, graphics, and branding elements to align with company style guidelines.
  • Select the best sound bites and visuals to maximize engagement and viewer retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing / content team to ensure edits align with messaging goals.
  • Manage deliverables efficiently and meet deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices.
  • Ability to condense long-form material into engaging, digestible clips.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, text overlays, and captioning tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience with content repurposing strategy or marketing.
  • Understanding of SEO for video and blog integration.
  • Basic design or animation skills (After Effects or Canva).
  • What We Provide

  • Access to all raw video content and brand assets.
  • Clear creative direction and target audience insights.
  • Ongoing project opportunities for the right candidate.
  • Seniority level : Entry level
