Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers in the design, development, and testing of components, hardware, and mechanical systems for custom cable assemblies and mechanical sheet metal cartridges.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met on schedule and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including signal integrity engineering, product management, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive product development.
• Develop and implement engineering development processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for hardware development projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Direct the growth plan for the team, including scaling resources to support business growth, take an active part in the interview and recruitment process, and onboard / train new hires.
• Conduct performance reviews and support the professional growth of team members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
