Job Summary
To ensure all team members within the defined area of responsibility are meeting all daily production goals and targets. Ensure that all team members are working within their assigned work cells during the required work hours.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the team members assigned to your area of responsibility
- Ensure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicators
- Ensure all team members are following Working / inspection Instructions
- Ensure Team Members are following the Company rules and policies
- Identify any potential risk that can interrupt the customer production line flow
- Be able to identify and implement Kaizens
- Maintain Production Visual Management Boards updated, track and follow up issues
- Other projects and assignments as requested by the management team
- Maintain productivity checking tally sheets constantly
- Foresee potential disruptions in the production chain
Qualifications
Minimum Five years of Supervisory ExperienceUnderstanding of the manufacturing processesGood communication skills (English).Computer skills (Excel, Power point, Outlook)Knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System)Leadership SkillsKnowledge of Injection Molding preferredPhysical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 30 PoundsMust be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to work day or night shift.Must be able to work overtime as requiredWorking Conditions
Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 100% of the timeAble to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each areaAble to work in heavy traffic areasAble to work in hot and humid conditionsAble to work in noisy areas were hearing protective equipment is requiredAble to work with chemicals.Able to work with machinery.Direct Reports
