Position Details :

Our Extended Day program offers children a peaceful, engaging space to unwind, play, and connect after their camp day ends.

• Camp Dates :

June 23 – August 15, 2025 (no camp on July 4)

3 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM daily (3 hours / day)

$32.00 / hour

Successful completion required

Key Responsibilities

As an Extended Day Teacher, you will provide care and creative engagement for children during the afternoon hours. Duties include, but are not limited to :

Attending pre-camp orientation and participating in occasional team meetings

Creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere

Serving as a compassionate and consistent role model in all after camp activities

Supervising up to 10 children with attentiveness to their well-being

Maintaining a clean and welcoming space

Reporting any concerns promptly to the Camp Director

Adhering to all health and safety protocols as outlined in camp policies

Arriving punctually and prepared for each scheduled day

Ideal Candidates Will Bring :

Experience working with children

A commitment to collaborative teamwork and Waldorf-inspired education

The ability to lead children in creative, nature-based, and hands-on experiences

Strong communication and organizational skills
