Health Information Management Professor

A company is looking for a Remote Visiting Professor for Health Information Management or Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate student learning by teaching courses and developing course syllabi and lesson plans

Engage in blended teaching methods, incorporating face-to-face interaction with online discussions and assignments

Participate in faculty training and development activities to ensure quality instruction

Required Qualifications

A master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field being taught from a regionally accredited institution

Current industry experience in a healthcare setting and relevant certifications (RHIT)

Knowledge of healthcare operations, including electronic health records and IT systems

Subject matter expertise in health information management and systems, privacy, and security

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, and facilitate diverse groups
