Responsibilities

Purpose : To review and analyze opportunities presented by customers for the movement of their freight and to ensure the business we handle is profitable and within the guidelines set forth by the company.

Essential Duties :

• Analyze incoming data of pricing requests from customer bids or opportunities submitted by sales reps and determine a pricing offer at an acceptable profitability level.
• Work pricing opportunities on both the LTL and Supply Chain sides of the business which are under one umbrella.
• Complete pricing for incoming Bid requests through a single lens : Analyze data and collaborate with Carrier Management team to determine which POTG operating company or extended network provider is suited to provide the best solution and then work up the solution.
• Regularly collaborate with sales team and work directly with customers (by video conference and possible face-to-face sales calls) to discuss data analysis and create solutions to their transportation problems.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Team on negotiation strategies to complete Price Expirations on time.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
