Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patient oral health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and four-handed dentistry.
- Provide pediatric dental care with an emphasis on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with infection control protocols.Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.Experience in general dentistry procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
