Key Responsibilities

Collect patient health histories and background information.

Take x-rays as needed to support patient care.

Prepare and maintain a clean, organized workspace for procedures.

Perform comprehensive hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride varnish, placement of localized antimicrobial agents, and delivery of local anesthesia.

Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices to support long-term care.

Update and maintain accurate patient records.

Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications :

MA Registered Dental Hygiene License (required)

MA local anesthesia license (required)

CPR certification (required)

Understanding of hygiene procedures

Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques

Excellent communication skills

Salary Description

$52.00 to $57.00 per hour
