Blankenship Equipment Repair is a compacting and recycling business serving the Pacific Northwest and Canada. We are growing and have an opening for compactor / baler technician.
We are looking for someone with strong mechanical abilities and who can learn at a moderate pace. Listed below are the desired skills / experience. Candidates do not need to posses all skills but should have experience in a few, we will teach the rest.
Desired skills / experience :
- Hydraulic- Basic Knowledge
Hydraulic hoses and fittings
Solenoid valvesElectrical – Basic KnowledgeDiagrams
SwitchesRelaysElectric MotorsMultimeters and TestingMechanical aptitude –StrongBreakdown and Assembly
Proper use of hand toolsWelding / Cutting / Fabrication -ConfidentSMAW – Stick welding- various.

Work Hours : Mon – Fri – 7 : 30 – 4p
Required Qualifications :
Valid driver's licenseMust pass background checkPay Range : $28 - $32 p / hr DOE
Benefits :
40-Hours Vacation after 6-months. 80-Hours after one full year with incremental annual increases up to 4-weeks.Health Insurance : Available after sixty days of employment.
