About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in the specialty.

License : Must have state licensure in hand at the time of submission.

Certifications : ACLS required.

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 5 : 1 preferred.
• Familiarity with charting systems preferred.

Description :

This position involves working four 10-hour shifts per week.

Nurses are required to be on call for 8-10 days each month.

The unit typically cares for adult and geriatric patients.

The daily census averages around 15 patients.

There is a requirement for floating to different areas as needed.

Travelers are expected to complete the onboarding and training as necessary.

Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring is essential.

Candidates must provide two professional references from charge nurses or above.

Familiarity with Cerner charting system is preferred.

Additional training modules may be required during orientation and annually.

Candidates should be flexible with floating to other patient observation areas as needed.

Compliance with weekend and holiday requirements is necessary for contract fulfillment.
