Office Manager – Japanese Bilingual

Location : El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Full-Time, Non-Exempt / Direct Hire

Salary : $52,000 – $67,000 / year (DOE)

About the Role

Japanese company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Administrative & HR Coordinator to support its U.S. office. This position covers a variety of back-office tasks including administration, HR, accounting support, and logistics coordination. Ideal for someone proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a small office setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily office operations (supplies, vendors, facilities)
  • Support HR tasks : onboarding, timesheets, employee support, insurance correspondence
  • Coordinate shipments and inventory with logistics team
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks and liaise with Japan HQ / local accountant
  • Provide support to Japan expats (interpretation, logistics, travel, scheduling)
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and events
  • What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of admin / back-office experience (internships considered)
  • Japanese and English bilingual (business level)
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and responsible, able to work independently
  • Interest in Japanese corporate culture
