- Drive safety initiatives to improve safety culture and performance, steer safety performance accountability across all areas of responsibility
- Consult with Center of Excellence (COE) organizations; attendance and performance tracking, investigations, terminations, employee inquiries, and driving team member support
- Lead Lean Daily Management in responsible areas to include key metric tracking, action item generation and completion, presenting daily to direct reports and various staff stakeholders
- Oversee daily production scheduling and operation of assembly team :
- Direct machine setup and compliance checks of assembly process
- Plan and assign manning requirements for daily production schedule
- Make staffing or procedure adjustments according to supplied manufacturing schedule
- Lead problem-solving initiatives to address production and quality concerns
- Consult with stakeholders on build priority and other activities requiring coordination
- Conduct applicant interviews and hiring recommendations
- Responsible for employee survey scoring and generating action items to improve overall employee engagement
- Estimate requisitions and inspects materials used in product production
- Deliver production within quality standards and customer expectations
- Operate within a Continuous Improvement mindset, suggesting improvement and efficiencies to the operation and to the work environment
