Job Description – Maintenance Coordinator
Position : Full-time, Non-Exempt
Location : Los Angeles, CA
Travel : Required – properties all within driving distance
Compensation : Up to $70,000 DOE + Overtime (Hourly Wage) + Mileage Reimbursement
Position Summary
Our high-end real estate client is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations across five high-rise luxury buildings in Los Angeles. The Maintenance Coordinator will play a key role in scheduling, coordinating, and tracking maintenance activities to ensure the properties remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. This role involves ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, and assisting with day-to-day maintenance needs while working closely with maintenance team members and the Director of Property Maintenance.
Unlike a supervisory role, this position does not directly supervise staff but will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that tasks are completed by the maintenance team.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate maintenance schedules across multiple buildings to ensure timely completion of preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Order and track maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and cost control.
- Serve as a liaison between the maintenance team, property management, and external vendors / contractors.
- Track maintenance work orders, ensure follow-up, and maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
- Respond promptly to tenant and staff requests, providing professional and client-focused service.
- Assist in coordinating building inspections and compliance-related activities.
- Support the Director of Property Maintenance in preparing reports and tracking maintenance-related expenses.
- Provide guidance to maintenance team members on priorities and scheduling but without direct supervisory responsibility.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.Must be able to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks as required.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary for emergencies.Required Education & Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of facilities, maintenance coordination, or related experience.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Experience with high-rise and / or luxury apartment buildings strongly preferred.Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record (mileage will be reimbursed).Ability to read and write in English.Compensation & Benefits
