CBS Sports is hiring : Associate Producer (CBS Sports) in New York

Overview The Associate Producer for CBS Sports Network will be expected to produce tape elements at a high level for any given live and / or taped studio show. The Associate Producer must work well within a team environment and exhibit accountability while maintaining the vision of the greater product. It is essential that the Associate Producer exhibits professionalism and expertise while completing all tasks. A successful edit AP at CBS Sports Network must love sports, storytelling and creativity with a commitment to accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities Overseeing the production of sound packages, highlight packages, teases, and bumpers

Working with the Highlight Supervisor daily while assisting in management of tasks

Assisting Broadcast Associates with workflow and quality control of elements

Communication with show producers when necessary

Requirements Extensive knowledge and passion for sports

Minimum of three years’ experience in television production with specific expertise in video production

Ability to work non-traditional business days / hours (nights and weekends)

Occasional travel to cover prominent sporting events (e.g., Final Four, Super Bowl, Army-Navy)

Highly proactive and organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented with strong communication and written skills

Ability to work well under pressure with a professional an do approach

4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
