Electrical Supervisor
Location : Charlotte NC-In person
Reports To : Production Manager
Salary Range-$95000-$100000
Job Summary
The Electrical Supervisor leads and organizes lead hands and shop floor employees to ensure production meets schedule, quality, and safety standards . This role involves shift coordination, daily progress reporting, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Drawing Release team to ensure accurate electrical schematics. The supervisor also maintains a safe and organized shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
- Monitor and report missing materials at least one day in advance.
- Lead, organize, and supervise lead hands to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide instructions and shift reports to the next shift supervisor.
- Ensure production follows the schedule and report delays with reasons.
- Verify the latest electrical schematics are used and updates are followed.
- Ensure compliance with AVL QA and customer quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
- Oversee shop floor attendance and manage daily reports.
- Report daily progress to managers.
Team Management & Leadership
Interview and recommend personnel actions (hiring, termination, promotions).Identify employee talents and provide coaching, mentorship, and training.Inspire, motivate, and guide team members toward shared goals.Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability.Foster team cohesion, collaboration, and engagement.Communication & Problem-Solving
Provide technical expertise and assist with troubleshooting electrical production issues.Communicate clearly with teams and resolve conflicts professionally.Seek clarification from supervisors or engineers when needed.Analyze problems, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions.Safety & Compliance
Promote a safe work environment in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.Demonstrate knowledge of safety standards and ensure team adherence.Understand the impact of this position on product and service quality.Continuous Improvement & Performance
