Role Overview

The Cell & Gene Therapy Coordinator (Non-Clinical) provides comprehensive coordination of administrative and operational services to ensure an efficient multi-disciplinary team approach for patients receiving advanced therapies. Serving as the central point of patient coordination in partnership with the clinical coordinator, this position facilitates an organized approach to managing patients undergoing advanced therapies across various care settings. This role supports the development and implementation of advanced therapy programs by streamlining logistics, enhancing workflow efficiency, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Operations.

Core Responsibilities

Patient Engagement & Scheduling

Engage with cell & gene therapy patients to through the

• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments for new and existing patients
• Monitor waitlists, cancellations, and optimize scheduling to improve patient access and program efficiency
• Ensure timely scheduling of laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up care
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., inpatient / outpatient teams, pharmacy, manufacturers, Nurse & Financial Coordinators) to maintain smooth patient flow
• Assist in the implementation of therapy-specific pathways, ensuring patients progress through evaluations, mobilization, collection, infusion, and follow-up in alignment with program guidelines

Administrative & Operational Support

Program Growth & Development

Participate in the development and refinement of workflows for patient identification, enrollment, and care coordination

Experience

The ideal candidate will have administration / coordination experience in oncology, cell and gene therapy, and / or bone marrow transplant or patient coordination services.

Skills & Education

Prior experience with computerized systems including EPIC, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
