CVOR CERTIFIED SURGICAL FIRST ASSISTANT

DESCRIPTION :

Job Title : Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) – Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery

Location : Atlanta, GA, 30309

Start Date : Candidate must complete privileging process prior to start (approx. 3 months).

Position Requirements (Hard Stop) :

  • Must have Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic surgical experience
  • Must hold one of the following certifications : CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA

    • Schedule & Call :

  • Shift : Day shifts
  • Weekends : Required only during call
  • Call : 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend approximately every 4 weeks (subject to departmental needs)
  • Floating : Within facility and scope of practice, including Main OR as needed

    • Experience :

  • Minimum : 5 years strongly preferred
  • Consideration : Will review candidates with at least 3 years of experience
  • Unit accepts first-time travelers
