Staff LPN - Inpatient Services

Job Summary

Provide quality care in a hospital setting to all patients served by PACHS. Assess patient's condition and nursing needs; prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet the needs of the patient, including patient teaching and discharge planning; records pertinent patient observations and reactions accurately and concisely. Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Strict confidentiality with medical records and related information is required.

Education / Requirements / Knowledge / Skills :

• Must possess current Iowa LPN license
• Must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
• Currently in LPN to RN program - Graduate expected Dec. 2024
• RN Boards must be passed within 1 year of graduation date
• Minimum 2 years of LPN Experience
• Inpatient Hospital experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers and other office equipment
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS preferred
