Job Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of the Coal Combustion Products (CCP) Corrective Action Program (CAP) & CCP Procedures Coordinator. The successful candidate will implement, govern, and oversee a CAP that focuses on continuous improvement, identifying non-conformities, assisting with cause investigations using a graded approach based on the consequences and significance of the event, tracking appropriate corrective actions when planned results are not met, validating that corrective / preventive actions are effective, and assuring that deficiencies and associated corrections are communicated appropriately. In addition, this position will also aid department leadership for all CCP procedures. This position coordinates and facilitates the reviews, updates, and revisions for all CCP procedures. This includes the annual review of most procedures and the potential cancellation of redundant or unused procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the Corrective Action Program by assessing gaps and implementing improvement plans
- Matrix oversight for all CCP groups in all jurisdictions
- Continuous development and maintenance of the strategic focus for the CAP.
- Establish measures to ensure that failures, malfunctions, deficiencies, deviations, defective components, and non-conformances are properly identified, reported & corrected.
- Development, implementation and tracking of key metrics to measure the health of the program
- Collaboration with select team members for the integration of fleet beneficial operation excellence initiatives and actions.
- Development of reports to identify undesirable conditions to analyze and identify trends in quality performance and communication of those trends to management
- Development, implementation, and maintenance for all CCP procedures and job aids.
- Works with CCP Training to ensure CCP procedures include appropriate training and minimize conflicts between procedures and field conditions
Basic / Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Technical Business Administration, mathematics, statistics, business, information technology, communications, technical degree, or other related degree3 years related work experienceIn lieu of bachelor's degree(s) AND 3 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School / GED AND 7 year(s) related work experienceDesired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineeringIn addition to desired degree, 5 years' related work experienceDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with various management levelsDemonstrated ability to lead implementation of Corrective Action program elementsWorking knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office productsFamiliar with RRE or CCP work processesProficient in project management theories and principlesExperience in plant operations, maintenance or work managementAdditional Preferred Qualifications
