WEEKLY HOURS - .5 COURSE CREDIT : No more than 10 hours per week. No more than 6 hours per day, plus complete a self-reflection project and present it during the last week of the internship. Currently a 1 - 2 semester limit.
The internship is unpaid, and interns will not receive any financial compensation.

About Albuquerque Public Schools

Summary of Position
This hands-on experience affords cadets the opportunity to put theories of previous leadership courses
into practice. Planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, controlling, and decision-making will be done by cadets. They will put into practice their communication, decision-making, personal interaction, managerial, and organizational skills. Instructors should keep in mind that since there is no textbook for this course, the course syllabus will be structured so that cadets achieve course objectives by completing corps management activities.
The course objectives are :
- Apply theories and techniques learned in previous leadership courses.
- Analyze how to develop leadership and management competency through participation.
- Analyze strengthened organizational skills through active incorporation.
- Evaluate how to develop confidence in ability by exercising decision-making skills.
- Evaluate Air Force standards, discipline, and conduct.
Cadets will also seek to earn a National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) industry-based CTE credential that directly reflects employability skills demonstrated by JROTC cadets.. At the conclusion of the internship, cadets will take a written assessment demonstrating competency in the following areas :
