Job Title : Protestant Worship Leader

Location : Offutt AFB , NE 68113

Duties :

  • Lead worship music and rehearsals weekly
  • Coordinate music with the Service Chaplain
  • Recruit and manage praise team members
  • Prepare / setup sound equipment
  • Support up to 62 worship events / year (incl. special services)
  • Maintain clean, orderly performance space

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of worship leading experience
  • Skilled in singing and playing guitar or keyboard
  • Knowledge of contemporary Christian music
  • Must pass a background check and complete chapel training

    • Hours of Work :

  • Up to 62 units per year (1 unit = 3.5 hours)

    • Includes :

  • 2 rehearsals / week (~1 hour each)
  • 1 worship service / week (~1.5 hours)
  • 10 special services (e.g., Christmas, Good Friday)
  • Total not to exceed 217 hours annually
  • Schedule to be determined after contract award
