Silver Star Construction, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Plant Maintenance - Crew Lead to perform inspections, repairs and maintenance issues with our local and portable plants.

Responsibilities :

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts, including conveyor belts, screens, wear parts, and pumps.

Diagnosing and resolving issues with various plant systems and equipment, including dryers, mixers, conveyors, and control systems.

Operating plant equipment to test and ensure proper functioning after repairs, and potentially operating other equipment like forklifts or manlifts.

Cutting, grinding, welding, and fabricating plant parts as needed.

Following safety procedures, maintaining records of repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a clean work environment.

Possibly supervising other maintenance staff, assisting with training, and collaborating with other plant personnel.
