Regional Operations Manager
Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the Regional Operations Manager is responsible for managing operational processes to boost the efficiency and resolve challenges of the sales and service team in the region. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating regional office activities to support growth objectives, team development, managing workflows, and overseeing sales interactions to ensure compliance with professional standards. This role will ensure clear communication between the sales team and internal partners to provide outstanding service to our business clients and members. This position is onsite in the Topeka or Lawrence office.

Compensation
$85,600 - $107,000 annually Exempt 16

The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive wages that align with the individuals skills, education, experience, and training. What Youll Do
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and other teams to enhance performance and resolve challenges.Plan, organize, and coordinate all regional office activities to support Plan growth objectives and ensure optimal service levels based on workload projections and staffing needs.Coordinate workflows and scheduling to ensure timely handling of sales and service inquiries during peak periods.Oversee sales and service interactions, offering feedback to administrators and representatives to reinforce sales goals and ensure compliance with professional practices and procedures.Partner with cross-divisional teams to drive process improvement initiatives and resolve issues.Propose and implement improvements to internal procedures to boost efficiency and effectiveness.Accountable for performance monitoring, policy enforcement, termination process, disciplinary action, hiring, compliance and team development. Maintaining accurate records of all hiring, firing and disciplinary actions.Monitor and maintain the Territorial Management System for the region, ensuring the sales team has access to and is trained on all relevant systems.Conduct monthly verification and monitoring of regional sales goals to ensure they are accurately represented.Prepare the annual budget for assigned areas, monitor the effective use of allocated funds, analyze budget variances, and recommend staffing, equipment, and supply needs while managing inventory for office supplies and marketing materials.Ensure all licensed personnel meet continuing education requirements and submitted timely to the Kansas Insurance Department.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Develop knowledge of all product lines, contracts, and related operating policies along with a strong understanding of the sales process, products and systems.Requires an understanding of the functions of other departments within the organization.Requires an ability to acquire knowledge of current policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the department, organization, and industry.Ability to influence, coordinate, and implement ideas effectively while exercising independent and creative thinking in planning and problem-solving.Ability to clearly articulate goals, expectations, and feedback to regional sales team.Analyze situations, evaluate options, and make informed decisions that benefit the team and organization.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving circumstances.Organize tasks, set timelines, and manage resources effectively for successful project execution and completion.Provide continuous support and training to team members, promoting their professional development and skill enhancement.Required to sign non-compete agreement.Education and Experience
High school diploma required. Bachelors degree is preferred with emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration, Health Care Financing or related field.Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.Three years experience related to sales, marketing, marketing communications, customer service, membership, claims or finance.Requires a State of Kansas Insurance License within 60 days of hire.Must have and maintain a valid Driving License.Physical Requirements
