Job Title : Systems Engineer

Location : Either in Salt Lake City, UT or Dallas, TX or Raleigh, NC (This is a hybrid role that will require onsite support every other week)

Duration : 5 months+ contract

Notes :

Coding tests during interviews - Hybrid in office every other week Required Locations (no exceptions) : - Salt Lake City, UT or Dallas, TX or Raleigh, NC

Description :

Systems Engineer to lend specific subject matter knowledge in building automation and observability.

  • Providing operational support to highly available, customer-facing systems with a focus on reliability and resilience.
  • Configuring and deploying resilient infrastructure in multiple regions and multiple availability zones Work multi-functionally with other organizations and collaborate with our risk, product and engineering team leaders.
  • Production support experience in large distributed systems preferred.
  • Drive and champion the overall design of highly available, secure, scalable microservices-based applications in AWS.

Qualifications :

  • Expertise in building automation and observability for heterogenous systems on multiple tech stacks including Kafka, MQ, Oracle and DB2 databases, Java, Node, Web applications.
  • Expertise in automating operational support and observability for mobile, web and API channels.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, service ownership models, CI / CD pipelines, and observability practices.
  • Experience crafting and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using tools like Datadog and Splunk for large distributed systems.
