Account Director
We are seeking an Account Director for a remote position. The Account Director is responsible for proactively driving and owning the health, stability, and growth of assigned client business while confidently maturing the client relationship across workstreams. This individual will lead a team focused on creating and optimizing cross-channel, journey-based experiences for a major consumer appliance brand.
We are seeking a self-directed Account leader with strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills - and a proven ability to work with clients and creative experience teams. - to drive successful programs for our client.
The ideal candidate must have experience launching digital campaigns & products, with specific experience on .com. This person will support across multiple categories and be responsible for managing both the day-to-day projects and developing longer term strategies that drive the business.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned business, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering strong, long-lasting relationships.
Understand client goals and objectives with accountability for project and engagement success-ensuring deliverables meet expectations and achieve measurable results.
Develop and oversee comprehensive digital and .com marketing strategies leveraging data analytics, insights, and customer journey mapping, aligned with industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate across strategy, analytics, creative, and channel teams to ensure seamless execution, cross-channel integration, and continuous optimization.
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement and providing strategic guidance and support to junior team members.
Track and report on account scope and performance, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
Set project- and track-level goals that ladder up to the overall client vision, providing clear direction and alignment across workstreams.
Proactively identify opportunities to expand relationships and drive both organic and new business growth.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders-including clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams-tailoring messages for audience and @context.
Navigate complex environments with agility, fostering collaboration and influencing decisions across disciplines
Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience, including account management within a fast-paced digital or advertising agency.
Deep expertise in digital, specifically .com, marketing strategies, creative and strategic development, analytics and optimization, and cross-channel integration.
Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional teams; able to motivate and develop talent while driving high performance.
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots across initiatives and guide long-term business vision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client presentation and public speaking experience.
Compensation Range : $57 - $78 per hour. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer / temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
