Coding Educator

A company is looking for a Coding Educator to develop and facilitate coding education programs for coders.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and update the coding education program for inpatient and outpatient coders

Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and develop relevant curriculum

Track and manage continuing education units (CEUs) and credentialing for coding associates

Required Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in auditing or higher-level coding leadership / management

Minimum of four years of experience in production coding

CCS certification and either RHIA or RHIT (CPC may be considered)

Previous teaching experience is preferred

Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is desired
